Describe yourself in three words:

Practical, easygoing, adventurous.

What’s your favorite thing about working at NRC?

First, my colleagues are wonderful! Second, we have a diverse set of clients working in a wide variety of fields, so I am able to apply my research skills to solve problems while learning from content experts about transportation, health, education, recreation, governance, and so many other important issues in our communities.

What’s your favorite thing about the place where you live?

Mountains! Looking at them, climbing them, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and finding birds, animals and wildflowers in them…

What is your favorite place and why?

I love where I live, but I love to travel. Thailand, Brazil, Peru, Utah canyons, Canadian Rockies…  too hard to choose!

What’s your favorite thing to do on a Sunday?

Start on the couch with a coffee and newspaper and then go on a bike-a-hike (bike to a favorite trail, hike a loop with picnic lunch at top, and bike on home).
