Serving local government and other public-sector clients since 1994, NRC maintains a database of over 700 jurisdictions nation-wide.

Alliance for Innovation (AFI) and National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) are proud to announce their new partnership, promising a wealth of resources and expertise to local government innovators.

Alliance CEO/President Joel Carnes states that “NRC’s services include employee engagement and satisfaction surveys, gathering citizen opinions,  and even assessing a community’s friendliness towards older adults.  With scalable and customizable research and survey options, Alliance members can have confidence in NRC’s research and survey methods to inform community action plans.”

NRC is a leading survey research and evaluation firm focused on providing public-sector organizations the data needed to move their communities forward.  NRC’s staff includes a team of highly skilled social science practitioners.  Their expertise and full range of survey research services help municipalities measure their effectiveness and better understand the perspectives of residents and other stakeholders.

NRC recognizes the connection between survey research and the innovation process, and they work to ensure reliable results.  “Local governments today need credible data, especially when it comes to considering new practices, measuring performance, strategizing and budgeting,” said NRC President Tom Miller.  “We’ve had a long-standing friendship with AFI, and we support their mission to inspire innovation in the public sector.”

Serving local government and other public-sector clients since 1994, NRC maintains a database of over 700 jurisdictions nation-wide.  Their suite of benchmarking surveys has gathered opinion data on thousands of U.S. adults, city staff and local businesses.

“We have seen local governments do amazing things with a great idea, community feedback, and a supportive network to rely on,” said NRC Marketing Director Angelica Wedell.  “This partnership is a wonderful way for NRC to be a part of all of that.”
