Best Eats in Seattle

A vibrant city and seaside beauty, we were excited to hear that the Annual ICMA Conference would be in Seattle, WA this year.  While the conference itself is the star attraction, once lunch time rolls around we’re looking forward to the coastal cuisine.

“Seattle is known for its seafood,” said NRC Research/Survey Associate Athena, who grew up in the Evergreen State.  “Pike Place Market is a great spot for dining.  Salmon, chowder, dungeness crab … you’ll want to try as much seafood as you can while you’re there!”

Only a 10 minute walk west from the Washington State Convention Center, Pike Place Market has been called the heart of Seattle’s food scene.  This public market features fresh produce, fish, local vendors and plenty of eateries.  Pikeplacemarket.org says it’s “one of the country’s oldest farmers markets,” making it a prime destination for any epicure.

You may be looking for a few great restaurants while you are in Seattle, so we searched the Internet to find the best, must-try places that people are raving about.
